After school, Dr. Hoch moved back to St. Petersburg, where he practiced both general and emergency medicine for 3 yrs at Noah’s Place Animal and Emergency Hospital. While not only giving him a solid base to continue his professional career, the clinic also afforded him the opportunity to meet his wife, Jennifer. In the fall of 2009, he relocated to Virginia Beach for a change of scenary, becoming on of the emergency clinicians at Tidewater Animal Emergency and Referral Center. However, after 1yr Dr. Hoch realized that between family and fun, Florida was the place to be.
Dr. Hoch is the newest member of the VHA family, having joined in January of 2011 taking a full time emergency position. When he is not caring for patients he spends most of his time trying to keep up with his 2 1/2 yr old son, Caleb, who enjoys “playing vet” with his 4yr old mixed breed dog, Paxton. In addition, the family enjoys spending time at the beaches around their St. Petersburg home.
