“Tail” Gate Party Open House Feb 6th 11-2pm Puppy Bowl
As an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association, Veterinary Healthcare Associates is an official veterinary sponsor of Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl VI and will be hosting a “tail” gate party on February 6, 2010 from 11:00 – 2:00 pm. This party offers an opportunity for all two and four-legged football fans to celebrate the human-animal bond and meet the entire hospital staff who will be available to answer pet care questions.
“The Puppy Bowl tail gate party is an opportunity to educate pet owners about how their pet can live a longer and healthier life,” said Dr. Loren Nations. “We look forward to hosting all our furry fans.”
In conjunction with the “tail” gate party, Veterinary Healthcare Associates will have a pet costume contest. Pets all shape and sizes will walk down the gridiron to show off their football spirit. Pet owners are also encouraged to tour the hospital facility and receive free first aid tips, charts and information concerning pets. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
Established in 1933, the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is the only organization that accredits veterinary practices throughout the U.S. and Canada for dedication to high standards of veterinary care. Only 15 percent of all small animal veterinary practices in the U.S. have achieved AAHA accreditation.
